IDEAL IMPLANT

Available in our office since 2016, the Ideal Implant Structured Breast Implant has the more natural feel that women want and advantages over silicone gel implants. After years of development and refinement, including contributions of clinical expertise from plastic surgeons, the Ideal Implant was approved by the FDA and Health Canada in 2015.

The Ideal Implant has a series of implant shells nested together and two separate chambers that hold the saline. This internal structure controls movement of the saline and supports the implant edges to reduce folding and wrinkling. In addition, the implant has been designed to contour to the natural curve of the chest wall. With the Ideal Implant, women can simply look in the mirror and know their implants are intact.

Esprit® Cosmetic Surgeons was the first to use this implant in Portland. The Ideal Implant is a great alternative to silicone gel implants. The feel is excellent, but in most cases slightly firmer than a silicone gel implant. But, usually this different is minor. Having placed dozens of these implants, we have seen our patients to be very pleased with the look and feel of their breasts augmented with the Ideal Implant.
